Local Arrested On Rape Charge
A Lawrenceburg resident was arrested late last week on an indictment charging him with the crime of rape.
Michael Aaron Smith, age 30, was served with the warrant at the Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department on Friday. Smith was booked on one count of rape and one count of sexual battery.
Smith is scheduled to answer the charge in Lawrence County General Sessions Court on March 11, 2013.
